The Styles Street Long Daycare Centre is implementing the Early Years Learning Framework. The EYLF is a national curriculum for early childhood education. It’s emphasis is on the child and family ‘Belonging, Being, & Becoming’. The Framework draws on international evidence that early childhood is a vital period in children’s learning and development. The educators at Styles Street are very excited about the implementation of this new curriculum and are placing more emphasis on our relationships with the children and their families and the implementation of an interest/play based learning environment.
